From Bentz:

This project was born from my desire to pay tribute to my father and tell his stories. Like many projects, it morphed in ways unanticipated. Todd Mathis deserves major credit for co-writing most of the songs, playing most of the instruments, his vision and producing. Genius! Thanks to my Dad, Jack Kirby, for the stories and everything he passed to me. As always thanks to my wife, May Kirby. She is my Polaris.

If I wouldn’t have stopped Bentz, you’d probably be holding a box set in your hands. The man has tons of greatstories and manages to turn many of them into art. I was honored to work on this project and enjoyed hanging out with him on Monday nights for the past few months just as much as the recording process.
